Assess - Introduce Team Member and Gather Information

Identify requirements and service deliverables from stakeholders
Assess high-level structure of existing security environment
Verify hardware and software requirements for JumpStart
Schedule deployment with resource availability

Plan - Review Architecture

Review system architecture and ePO directory planning
Review project plan and procedures
Develop strategy for deployment for the entire estate

Design - Develop ePO Strategy

Define desktop security policy
Create agent update policy that will minimize impact to system performance
Specify ePO reporting requirements and scheduling
Define outbreak containment procedures

Implement - Deploy Base Product

Install and configure ePO software on a Windows server
Deploy ePO agesnts to 20 sample clients

Operate - Test Product Deployment

Test software distribution on sample clients
Test virus detection policy and enforcement on sample clients

Optimize - Configure to Customer Environment

Provide centralized reporting for installed McAfee Security products such as McAfee VirusScan® Enterprise, McAfee GroupShield®, and McAfee Email and Web Security
