It employs "always-on" encryption, is easy to use, and eliminates the need to install software or drivers on host machines. Strong Hardware Encryption System IronKey drives encrypt stored data with high-speed military-grade hardware encryption. Unlike software-based encryption, this protection cannot be disabled and is protected against cold-boot and brute force attacks. If a thief tries to break into an IronKey drive and exceeds a policy-determined number of failed login attempts, the onboard Cryptochip will lock out the encryption functions and securely erase all data. Organizations can deploy IronKey Enterprise using either a secure online service or, optionally, an on-site, customer-maintained server. Strong Authentication IronKey Enterprise devices have full public-key encryption capabilities, which enable them to be managed securely and remotely.
