The Issue

You may havev had MailMarshal and / or WebMarshal installed for an extended period of time. You may even have performed several major version upgrades - for example from MailMarshal v5 to v2006, or from WebMarshal v2 to v3.

Currently when you upgrade MailMarshal or WebMarshal, no new rules are automatically installed by the upgrade process. This is done for a very good reason - you many have customized your own ruleset, and if Marshal automatically inserted new rules during the upgrade process, it may unwittingly compromise your installation.

Therefore the very latest recommended "best practice" text censor scripts, rules and configuration may not be in effect in your installation.

As not all of our customers have the time or ability to research or to implement "best practice" for rule updates, NwTech is pleased to now offer a unique, fully customized, fully bespoke "Rules Upgrade Service".

This service is available for all MailMarshal SMTP and WebMarshal customers.

Utilizing the very latest techniques, we will take your current MailMarshal or WebMarshal configuration and will analyze it completely before we proceed.

If we deem a rule upgrade is necessary, we will then proceed to fully optimize your configuration, providing your business with the very latest protection.
