Applications for Strong Authentication
Authentication is the process of determining whether someone or something is, in fact, who or what it is declared to be.
Two-way authentication is where (for example), a customer is required to prove their identity to the bank's website and the bank site must in return prove its authenticity to the user. This ensures both parties can be confident that they are dealign with a legitimate source.
Two Factor authentication adds the requirement to have the ability to generate a token, or one time password using an authorized method.
There are many applications for authentication, some examples of which are listed below.
Secure Web Applications - Online Banking etc.
Deepnet Unified Authentication Platform Internet Edition is a two-way and two-factor authentication solution designed specifically for web applications such as online banking, shopping and gambling etc., without the requirements of new hardware devices.
Unfortunately, most existing strong authentication solutions require additional hardware devices such as smart cards, USB keys or One-Time Password hardware tokens, which are expensive to implement, deploy, manage and very inconvenient to the users.
Deepnet Unified Authenticaion Platform utilizes the devices users alread have (computers, mobile phones, PDA etc.) or the user's behavioral biometrics (typing pattern, voiceprint), as the second factor. This eliminates the need to distribute new hardware, making the systems cost effective, user friendly and simple to manage.

Key Benefits
- Two-Factor Authentication
- Two-Way Authentication
- No Hardware
- No Software
- Easy to Integrate into existing Web applications
- Quick to Deploy
- Simple to Manage
- User Friendly
- Cost Effective
